Target groups:            high school student, elementary school students, mathematics teachers from elementary school to university, pre-service teachers, mathematical associations, employers, governmental and non-governmental organizations related to education                   

 

COMPMATH project aims:

  • to expand and modernize teaching and learning methods used in the field of mathematics and mathematics-based

sciences within STEAM principles.

  • to improve professional competencies in the neighborhood of new updated Covid 19 technology;
  • to promote STEAM skills, throughout teaching material which can be used during and after Covid 19

COMPMATH project activities are :

1) Development of COMPMATH-teaching material for blended learning based on dynamic packages for selected topics ;

2) Teacher training on developed teaching material;

3) Piloting and development COMPMATH framework for blended learning based on previous developments;

4) Development of Web COMPMATH project web page.

The expected results are:

  1. Developed Web page;
  2. Collection of teaching activities before and during Covid-19 crisis;
  3. Proposals for implementing STEAM methodology for blended learning based on digital technology;
  4. Developed teaching and learning materials for mathematics contents in high school in STEAM sense;
  5. Published online exemplary lessons;
  6. Results of analysis of the impact and effects of pilot topics;
  7. Created framework for blended learning;
  8. Trained staff.
